Aquarium Designer

You are an aquarium builder whose task it is to build aquariums of different shapes and sizes for your clients. Use your knowledge in volume and area to determine the measurements needed to create the perfect size.

Big Idea:

  •  Volume is the term used to describe the carrying capacity of a container.
  •  To find the volume of a container you must take into account three dimensions (length, width, and height).
  •  Algebra can be used to assist in finding the measurements necessary to produce a specific volume.
